What is a book launch and how does it work?
A book launch is the first month after a book is published.
It is the most important time for a book to get noticed on booksellers like Amazon.
Purchases and customer reviews help bookseller sites like Amazon see if people are interested in the book.
If there are lots of sales and reviews in the first month, the bookseller will promote the book to more new customers, and a beneficial cycle follows so the book can continue to sell well after the launch period.
Without good sales and reviews in the first month, many books get lost in the sea of 33 million book titles on Amazon, and new buyers never see them.
The book launch window for Black Beauty is Thursday 16th February to Thursday 9th March 2023

- The best testimonials are short, consisting of 2-3 sentences, and focus on your experience.
